The Co-operative has announced a three-year, £500,000 partnership with the British Youth Film Academy - giving over 3,000 young people from all backgrounds and abilities the opportunity to get a foot in the door of the film industry.
The Co-operative British Youth Film Academy allows students, from 14 years of age right through to postgraduate levels of education, to experience each of the departments constituent within film production while working with experts in the field. The scale of the Film Production Summer Schools ensures that everything from catering to cameraman, makeup and wardrobe can be offered to students interested in such aspects of the industry.
